High-Efficiency Commercial Refrigerator Fan Motor
High-Efficiency Commercial Refrigerator Fan Motor — Product Specification
1. Product Overview
This series of fan motors consists of high-performance power components engineered specifically for commercial refrigerators, condensing units, evaporators, and supermarket display showcases. Featuring high starting torque, low noise, extended service life, and excellent moisture resistance, we offer both traditional, highly reliable Shaded Pole motors and next-generation, ultra-energy-efficient brushless motors (EC Motors) to ensure efficient and uniform cold air circulation inside the cabinet.
2. Key Advantages
1. Superior Moisture & Frost Resistance (IP44/IP65)
Optimally designed for high-humidity and frost-prone environments inside freezers. Features a totally enclosed or moisture-proof structure, with stator windings treated via specialized vacuum impregnation to prevent short circuits caused by condensation.
2. Long Life & Low Noise Operation
Equipped with high-precision sleeve bearings or totally enclosed dual ball bearings from international brands, lubricated with long-lasting low-temperature grease. Ensures quiet operation and a maintenance-free bearing lifespan exceeding 30,000 hours.
3. Built-In Thermal Overload Protection
An automatic-reset thermal overload protector is integrated inside the motor (trips at 130°C or 150°C). It automatically cuts off power if the motor overheats due to a locked rotor or abnormal voltage, preventing burnouts.

4. Wiring & Installation Guide
Mounting
The motor features versatile mounting configurations (e.g., foot brackets, body screw holes, or end-shield studs). When mounting the fan blade, ensure the use of matching washers and locknuts, and maintain a minimum 10mm clearance between the blade and the shroud/evaporator fins to prevent friction.
Wiring Instructions
The standard motor lead wire is a 3-core cable (Live-L, Neutral-N, Earth-GND). The earth wire is typically green/yellow. Ensure the main power supply of the refrigerator is disconnected before wiring, and guarantee that terminals are fully waterproofed and insulated.
5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
1. Fan fails to rotate but motor hums
Troubleshooting: The fan blade may be jammed by excessive ice/frost accumulation, or the bearing may be seized due to dried grease. Cut off power immediately, spin the blade manually to check for resistance, and defrost or replace the motor if necessary.
2. Excessive or abnormal operating noise
Troubleshooting: Check if the fan blade is deformed, loose, or causing resonance due to loose mounting screws. If the blade is intact but there is noticeable radial clearance in the motor shaft, the bearings are worn, and the motor must be replaced.
Safety Warnings
1. Never operate the motor without proper grounding protection or with exposed wiring.
2. Do not insert fingers or tools into the fan blade rotation area while the motor is running.
