4. Installation & Leveling Guide
Installation
1. Attachment
· Insert Tubular Type: Align the plastic/stainless steel sleeve of the foot
with the bottom opening of the refrigerator's square or round legs, and tap it
steadily into the tube using a rubber mallet.
· Threaded Stem Type: Align the threaded stem with the reinforced embedded
nut at the corner of the freezer bottom, and screw it in clockwise until
secured.
2. Unit Leveling (Crucial Step): Move the refrigerator to its designated
position and place a spirit level on the top surface. Observing the bubble
indicator, use a wrench to rotate the foot counter-clockwise on the lower side
(to extend it) or clockwise on the higher side (to retract it) until the unit is
perfectly horizontal.
5. Safety & Maintenance
Never Over-Extend the Threaded Stem
When adjusting the height, do not exceed the specified maximum safe
adjustment limit (it is highly recommended to keep at least 3-4 thread turns
engaged inside the leg housing). Over-extending the stem compromises the overall
rigidity, which may lead to sudden stem snapping or the unit tipping over when
fully loaded.
Routine Inspection & Maintenance
Commercial kitchen floors are prone to grease buildup, which can accumulate
around the base of the feet. It is recommended quarterly to wipe away oil and
grease from the feet while cleaning under the unit. Concurrently, check for any
self-loosening of the threads caused by high-frequency machine vibrations (e.g.,
ice harvesting or compressor cycling) and re-level if necessary.
